Recreation
I believe recreation is important in order for families to stay healthy and active. Independence Township is fortunate to be the home of, “Fields of Dreams”. This beautiful facility, surrounded by panoramic views, which displays wide open recreational fields along with walking paths, basketball courts, hockey rink and playground, is the perfect setting for Independence families to gather. I fully support this “gem” in our community. I would look forward to working with our recreational department that continues to work hard and expand recreational activities for our community.
